Tag It: TFJ Challenge

 Hello and welcome to a new challenge for the Funkie Junkie Challenge Blog . This week we want to challenge you to create Holiday Tags for us! Now is the time to be sure you have enough holiday gift tags. Show us your best festive holiday tag! For this new challenge I have created two sets of quick and easy mini tags, and one large tag with some stamping and stenciling. Let’s get started with some stamping, stencilling, and spritzing. To create these tags I used: the Sizzix Christmas Minis die set, distress paint dried marigold, picket fence, festive berries, and rustic wilderness, distress ink kitsch flamingo and festive berries, distress reinkers tattered rose , festive berries, rustic wilderness, mustard seed, salty ocean, salvaged patina, and blueprint sketch, CMS249 Scribble Christmas and Jolly Santa CMS442, distress archival black soot, distress glitter tinsel, Ranger sticky embossing powder, distress embossing ink, THS002S shifter stencil. Living Things:TFJ Challenge

Hello and welcome to a new challenge over at the Funkie Junkie blog.For this challenge the inspiration is animals or any type of living creature that you want to feature on your art!  This will showcase our love for our pets, animals and/or our insect friends! Include a photo, stamped image, embellishment or pattern paper of a living creature in your art.  To join the challenge head over to the  Funkie Junkie Blog  for the challenge rules and ways to enter. For the living things challenge I wanted to feature one of my favourite colorize die sets, Harrison the lion. With this die set I decided to make a jungle themed birthday card. We will also be looking at ink blending with my new favourite Distress  color combination: chipped sapphire, prize ribbon, villainous potion, and kitsch flamingo.    If you would like to see the process video click   here .
