TFJ: Distressed About Paints?

Image
Hello and welcome back to The Funkie Junkie Inspiration Ave. Today we are creating to the theme “distressed about paint”.  For my project today I have decided to create a card with a distress paint and some fun, Sizzix florals. For process  video click here . Used: Distressed paint brushed pewter, squeezed lemonade, picket fence, Kitch  flamingo shaded lilac, tumbled, glass and craft pistachio, distress, archival black soot, Idea-ology ephemera and bouquet steps at CMS 430 floral outlines and Sizzix breaststroke minis. To start off this card project I’ve pulled in some of my favourite pastel distress colours: squeezed lemonade, picket fence, Kitch  flamingo shaded lilac, tumbled, glass and craft pistachio  and a piece of mixed media paper. To start, I decided to use the classic distress paint squish technique. Here on the media craft mat I added paint droplets and then spritz them with water from the distress sprayer. Below are the first results from my first swipe with the mixed media

To start the project I’m first going to be die cutting five flowers from the wild flower stems number one set. I die cut these flowers from mixedmedia cardstock. Next with the distress reinker I painted each of the flowers using the Tim Holtz fine detailer w
