Stampers Anonymous Stamp or Stencil

 Hello and welcome to this week’s Funkie Junkie Inspiration Ave. This week we are featuring the Stampers Anonymous Everyday Stamp and Stencil collection.  Today I want to focus on the stamp set floral trims CMS461 paired with alcohol inks and dura-lar. We will also try a few stencil techniques to create our background.  Click here for video tutorial. Used: Ranger AI Vineyard, Laguna, Glacier, Ranger Dura-Lar, Distress Ink, Fossilized Amber, Peacock Feathers, Pine Needles, black kraft stock, Stamp set CMS461 Floral Trims, Tonic Snips, Stencil THS166, and Ranger Distress White Heavy Stock To start today’s card I am going to be working on a Ranger substrate for alcohol ink. Today’s substrate is dura-lar, which is a transparent and heat stable substrate for alcohol inks. For our background, we are going to be using the alcohol inks Vineyard, Laguna, and glacier. Here I have dripped a few drops of alcohol ink of each colour onto the dura-lar. Then I added a few drops of alcohol, ink, blend

Get Ready to Travel

 Welcome to a new tutorial for The Funkie Junkie Inspiration Ave Blog. Today we are creating to the theme of get ready to travel. For this weeks project I have decided to create a travel journal featuring the road trip colorize Sizzix die.  For video tutorial click here . Used: Road Trip Colorize, Idea-ology corners, distress paint uncharted mariner, mermaid  lagoon, barn door, faded  jeans, lumberjack plaid, salty ocean, hickory smoke, lost shadow, tarnished brass, Picket fence, and prize ribbon, Idea-Ology corners, worn wallpaper, distress watercolor cardstock. To start today’s project we are going to be cutting four pieces of chip board. The first pieces are going to be 8 and 1/2“ x 5 1/2“. Next we will be cutting the spine at 8 and a half inches by 1”. For the layered frame piece, we will be cutting that at 4 1/2“ x 7 1/2“. Next, I’m going to be painting all the pieces blue with uncharted mariner distressed paint.
