Let’s Be Neutral

 This week at the TFJ inspiration ave blog we are creating to the theme of “ let’s be neutral”. Neutral colours can help create contrast when used in a background or used as a primary focal point. Today I am going to try both neutrons in the background and neutrals as a main focal point when talking about neutrals I am also going to be including metallics in that category as well. For my project, I am making a set of two cards with neutral colours as a background and as a focal point. For instructional video click here . Tonight we were playing with neutral colors, so let’s take a quick stop and just admire the view of distress colours on the wall. From my distress ink collection I have pulled old paper, antique linen, tea die, vintage photo, and ground espresso. From the oxide side, I also pulled out ground espresso and walnut stain. Whatever the Weather

 Tonight creating to the theme of “whatever the weather “ for this week’s Simon says stamp change . Created two cute spring chicks waiting out some April showers and flowers bloom. Used: paper cut chicks. Stamp set CMS371 distinguished, Stamptember TH set 2021, prize ribbon distress glaze, distress spray stains mustard seed and distress mica spray stain harvest moon and jack-o-lantern, Idea-Ology layers and label stickers. Die cut the little chicks out of distress mixed media paper and then colored it with distress spray stains mustard seed and distress mica spray stain harvest moon and jack-o-lantern. In the background I cut up some scraps of Idea-ology backgrounds to create a new background using the mini Tonic Trimmer.

Spring Frolic

 Hello and welcome back this week for the Funkie Junkie inspiration Ave Blog, we are creating to the theme of spring frolic. For this weeks creation, I have decided to feature the brand new Tim Holtz Idea-Ology reliquary dome and other new Idea-ology elements. For video tutorial click here . Used: vintage photo reliquary dome, distress, foundry wax, transparent things 2, Idea-Ology clips, word tags, organic layers, adornments foliage, collage medium, ephemera large pallet, hot glue, distress crayon vintage photo, and pick fence. To start this project we are going to be using the new Tim Holtz Idea-Ology reliquary dome. Inside it, we are going to be creating a spring themed environment. To start I am going to use one of the new transparent things 2 pieces. This is going to be our background and the foundation for the theme of spring frolic. Next, we are going to build up the cork base of the dome with some tinfoil. This I’m going to transform into a grassy knoll with some pieces of moss
