The supplies used: alcohol inks turquoise, stone washed, patina mermaid,  Everglade, Impresslit lucky in love, distress archival ink crushed olive and rustic wilderness, yupo paper, specialty stamping paper and distress, mixed media paper, stamp set floral elements CMS445, alcohol lift ink reinker, Ranger aTH brayer. To start this technique I’m going to be using a variety of quartered alcoholics, including turquoise, stonewashed patina, a mermaid, and Everglades. I then sprinkled the alcohol inks on the yupo paper before moving it around with the Tim Holtz, Ranger alcohol, ink blower tool. Below are the results of the alcohol ink on Yupo paper Now to jump into the technique

This week I was inspired to make a dark and mysterious Valentine’s Day tag featuring the new Distress color Lost Shadow. For video tutorial click here .  This week I am used: Sizzix dies gentlemen, alphanumeric bulletin, collage medium, prima Finnibair gilding flakes, gilding paste, distress sprays lost shadow oxide, black soot spray stain, and tart cranberry mica spray stain, walnut stain crayon, collage paint brush, stencil THS032, Idea-ology crinkle ribbon, mixed media tag, lucky in love impresslit, black heavy stock, and metallic kraft stock. To start this project I am beginning with a Ranger TH mixed media tag for the foundation. To add color to the background I will be using distress sprays lost shadow oxide, black soot spray stain, and tart cranberry mica spray stain.  Lost shadow is an absolutely amazing color and will help give a dramatic flair to our background.
